Things might get much more serious than mere separation.

It’s been a while since The Big Bang Theory ’s prequel Young Sheldon ended its run, leaving numerous fans heartbroken and devastated about the show’s finale. Though they surely won’t be suffering too long until the franchise’s another spinoff arrives.

Following Young Sheldon’s immense success, this time the famous story will turn to Sheldon’s older brother Georgie, who throughout the prequel’s seven seasons came from a messy and rebellious teenager to a responsible young husband and father starting his own life with wife Mandy.

Despite most of the details for the upcoming new series being kept under wraps for now, one major plot twist already has pretty high chances to eventually arrive, yet a new viral fan theory suggested a much more obscure explanation of the whole drama.

As soon as the future spinoff got its official title Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, fans were quick to grasp that Georgie and Mandy ’s married life after Sheldon’s departure for California won’t be that nice and easy for them, at least every so often.

The series' name clearly indicates that there will be some certain ups and downs for the couple which eventually lead them to a decision to get separated, though, considering that the title hints at more than just one marriage, they’ll eventually get back together.

However, for those who have been The Big Bang Theory’s fans years before Young Sheldon made its way to the screens, things don’t appear to be that simple.

With all the news regarding Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage and its potential plot twists, some fans took to social media to suggest that Mandy could probably die in the upcoming spinoff and reminded others that she in fact was never featured in the original show while Georgie appeared several times all by himself.

Those who also considered this option possible added that Young Sheldon’s final season actually did a good job presenting Georgie and Mandy as a perfect couple, as if The Big Bang Theory’s prequel was indeed preparing its viewers for a shocking and disheartening plot twist that would add some extra drama to the story developed in the future spinoff.

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will prove all those theories right or rather wrong when it finally arrives on CBS this fall or later this year.
