Yesterday, the long-awaited threequel premiered in London, and some lucky folks already saw it, sharing their thoughts on Twitter.

After the disappointing sequel and Johnny Depp ’s departure from the franchise, things were not looking bright for ‘Harry Potter ’ spin-off, but it looks like the third film managed to find its feet once again.

Digital Spy’s Ian Sandwell called the film ‘an improvement’ and heralded Mads Mikkelsen entry into the franchise as ‘a huge upgrade’.

Looper’s Xandra Harbet described the film as a ‘Love letter to misfits’, praising its groundbreaking moments and epic battles and Fandom’s Eric Goldman admitted that he likes Mikkelsen’s take on a Grindelwald more than Depp’s, while concluding that some supporting stories felt undercooked.

At least for now, reactions for the film looks to be much more positive than those of its predecessor. Potter fans can keep their hopes up once again! We find out what Eddy Redmayne, Jude Law and Mads Mikkelsen have in store for us when ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ hits theatres on April 15, 2022.
