First The Marvels Trailer Surprisingly Proves Old Reddit Leak
It looks as if it has a good chance of being completely true after all.
With the first trailer for The Marvels finally upon us, fans have already studied every frame of it.
With colorful visuals and great music choices, they point out that it looks and feels more like the early parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and are eager to see what awaits them. But it seems that some of the fans already know.
Surprisingly, a lot of what was shown looks identical to a supposedly leaked plot for the movie that was posted on Reddit 9 months ago.
First of all, the rumors about the main antagonist of the movie, a Kree named Dar-Benn, portrayed by Zawe Ashton, are now confirmed to be true.
She is seen wielding a hammer (which looks identical to the one Ronan the Accuser had) and leading her troops.
Next, all three heroines experience a malfunction of their powers, causing them to switch places with each other, resulting in Kamala Khan appearing in space, replacing Monica Rambeau.
The claim that the post-credits scene from the Ms. Marvel TV series was part of the movie also turned out to be true.
So is the scene where Kamala and Monica fall helplessly from a great height. Also, the Flerken kittens mentioned in the leak make an appearance in the trailer.
Fans are quite surprised to see so many coincidences with the leak that happened so long ago.
"I know this plot leak is older but I hope they explain why they start swapping all of a sudden. I don't understand why Kamala and Monica would suddenly get their powers but not start switching until later.
Hopefully they fixed that in the reshoots. Otherwise, I think it sounds fun and the trailer lines up well with the leak. I'm digging it," Reddit user Simon3873 said.
However, they do admit that if the rest of the leak is true, it would make for a compelling adventure that, in a rare Marvel move, shows the negative consequences of the hero's actions and introduces a new sympathetic villain.

The Marvels is scheduled for release on November 10, 2023.
