What Will The Sympathizer Be About?

The Sympathizer is directed by Park Chan-wook and based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book of the same name. The plot explores the life of a half-Vietnamese, half-French communist spy who goes under the nickname Captain who, during the last days of the Vietnam War, is exiled to the United States.

Though one and only trailer for the upcoming series was released about a month ago, fans are still not over Robert Downey Jr. 's looks in there — as many in the comment sections admitted, they wouldn’t have recognised the actor if it hadn’t been for the captions below.
