The mega-successful ‘Game of Thrones’ TV series ended in 2019 with the questionable eighth season that prompted anger and discontent among the fanbase.

It was just a regular Sunday. Twitter was discussing things, as usual. Someone was perhaps getting ready to go to sleep after a peaceful weekend at home. When suddenly, the Game of Thrones account caused waves, tweeting two simple words.

“Sleep well,” the tweet said.

And everyone went insane.

After the post went viral and garnered hundreds of thousands of likes, people could not stop guessing just what it could all mean. New upcoming series? Season 8 remake? Winter is coming?..

Some people could not help but laugh about the failures of season 8. Or just straightforwardly ask HBO to remake it.

Someone just rolled out weird memes with no context.

But maybe 'GoT' mysterious tweet could indicate that there is a certain trailer coming soon. Or maybe not.

It could make sense, though, because HBO announced ‘House of the Dragon ’, the GoT prequel, in October 2019. The show is expected to dive deep into the story of House Targaryen. However, fans have only seen several photos from the set so far, and can’t wait to see more.

But as of now… sleep well.
