According to TVLine, Eva LaRue, best known for her role as Maria Santos on All My Children, which ran from 1970 to 2011, will portray Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, the mother of Blaze, aka Alison Rogers, played by Jacqueline Grace Lopez.

Blaze is currently involved in a romance with Kristina, played by Kate Mansi, but has no intention of coming out publicly, fearing that revealing her sexual orientation could lead to some pretty dire consequences, possibly affecting her career as a singer.

However, the young woman also hinted that her family may not appreciate such news either, so viewers may be in for a significant amount of drama with her mother now entering the picture.

Either way, LaRue will definitely prove to be a great addition to the soap's cast, considering the impressive list of projects the actress has already starred in.

Now, by joining the ensemble cast of General Hospital, LaRue will soon be reunited with some of her former AMC co-stars, such as Cameron Mathison and Michael E. Knight.

Fans will soon find out where her appearance on General Hospital will lead, as the actress will make her debut on the TV series on February 26, 2024.
