Guy Ritchie’s New Crime Show Will Arrive on Streaming Much Earlier Than The Gentlemen Season 2

The brand new series from Guy Ritchie titled MobLand stars Pierce Brosnan among others and is currently set to be released in March.
The news on Guy Ritchie ’s The Gentlemen getting a second season after all broke a couple of days ago, but the director’s fans will be delighted to have another Ritchie-helmed series to fill the void with until the former is back on the small screens.
There were multiple rumours circulating about the filmmaker’s upcoming TV project the name for which remained another secret, and though Ritchie is attached to the future show as one of several directors, he still might become a major addition to the series’ viewership when it finally arrives on Netflix.
Created by The Day of the Jackal’s Ronan Bennett, the upcoming show features a star-studded cast and will become available on streaming in less than a month.
Guy Ritchie Directed Several Episodes for MobLand
After months of speculation, the director’s next project finally got some exciting details as, according to Deadline, the official release date is now set for MobLand, Bennett’s new crime drama show, several episodes of which were helmed by Ritchie.
The series will land on Netflix on March 30, though the only catch so far is that for now it’s scheduled for a premiere only in US, Canada, the UK and Australia. As the same report states, release dates in other territories will be unveiled sometime later this year.
Starring Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and Tom Hardy in the leading roles, MobLand will follow the head of an organized crime family who strives for more power in a global crime syndicate.
Tom Hardy will reportedly portray Harry, a fixer for the Harrigan family led by Brosnan and Mirren’s characters. The upcoming series also stars Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber.
There’s Another Guy Ritchie-Directed Exciting Project on the Way
Though it might not arrive as soon as MobLand, Ritchie’s next TV show is just as compelling as it can ever get.
Initially announced back in 2024, the director’s upcoming drama series Young Sherlock starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin in the leading role will offer a new perspective on Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous character who Guy Richie is apparently very fond of.
This time the story will revolve around 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes studying at Oxford University and having no clue about his bright detective future yet; however, a mysterious murder occurring within the university walls forces Holmes to test his abilities, uncovering a secret that will lead him to a global-level conspiracy.
The show will air on Prime Video sometime in 2026.
