Good news for DCEU fans: DC's slate at CinemaCon 2022 is almost ridiculously stacked.
CinemaCon is where all the major film studios come to announce new films and release teasers and trailers for highly anticipated projects. Let's take a look at what new DCEU films will be presented at the convention.
Thanks to some Twitter users taking a picture of the DC stand at CinemaCon, we now know what upcoming movies will be in the spotlight. Even though there are only five titles, the list is quite promising.
First of all, 'Shazam! The Fury of the Gods' will be showcased during the convention. The film's premiere is set for December 15, 2022, and the trailer will most likely be unveiled in the coming days. Zachary Levy returns to his role as Shazam, with Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu joining him as a pair of Olympic gods.
Dwayne Johnson's 'Black Adam' is also in the DC's slate at CinemaCon with October 21, 2022 release date. The film still does not have a trailer, so the likelihood of it premiering during CinemaCon is quite high. The anti-hero film co-starring Pierce Brosnan and directed by Jaume Collet-Serra is eagerly anticipated by DC fans.
'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' will premiere next year on March 17, 2023. The film, once again directed by James Wan and starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe and Patrick Wilson, does not yet have a synopsis, which may be unveiled during CinemaCon.
The long-awaited and already notorious 'The Flash' will premiere on June 23, 2023, and a teaser or trailer will hopefully be unveiled in the coming days. The film about time travel and navigating through the multiverse is directed by Andy Muschietti and stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck.
Animated film 'DC League of Super-Pets' will premiere this summer, July 29. Great visual effects and the voices of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and John Krasinski will surely leave younger DC fans happy.
CinemaCon 2022 runs through Thursday, April 28.
