Romantic comedies are one of my favorite genres – these movies are just perfect for relaxing after a hard day. And old rom-coms have a special charm – the feelings seem deeper, and love transforms into real magic.
Here are eight old but charming flicks that will cheer you up, even after the rainiest and saddest day.
1. 'It Happened One Night', 1934

Ellie, a rich heiress, escapes from her yacht to marry a man her father doesn't approve of. She sets off on a solo trip from Miami to New York.
