Almost ten years on screen, Chicago PD has seen many twists of the plot and character changes. In the currently running tenth season of this Chicago One franchise's series yet another character became a regular.

Dante Torres first appeared in Chicago PD in the eighteenth episode of Chicago PD's season 9.

Detective Halstead took him under his wing while investigating a new case. As the two characters were getting to know each other better, the truth about Torres' complicated past came to the surface.

The dynamics between the recruit and his mentor must have been enough to instigate interest towards him among Chicago PD's fans.

As a result, Benjamin Levy Aguilar who portrays Dante in the series has been added to the main cast. At least, the series' fans were excited about new plot lines and the character himself.

Only as season 10 is coming to an end, they're saying there's not enough of him on screen.

In other words, Dante is said to be neglected by the showrunners. Such negligent treatment of the character who has brought life to a decade-lasting series is unforgivable.

As Chicago PD's fans are yearning to see more of Dante, they say his fascinating storyline is ignored in favor of other characters like Hailey, Kim, or Adam.

"I'm so tired of storylines revolving around Kim & Adam. […] Let Dante shine instead of repeated episodes of Kim's ridiculous, overacted renditions of PTSD for a full 40 minutes," wrote Redditor lilstergodman.

Many fans say that they are sure Dante has much more to demonstrate. And while he may be easily underestimated, he will be at his most glorious when at a critical moment.

Chicago PD fans believe Torres has the master-over-any-situation vibe to him. Anyway, he produces an impression of a person who knows exactly what to do and to say when things happen.

For instance, Dante didn't shy away from berating a dirty cop when he saw one.

Nevertheless, Torres is mostly unknown by the series' fans. His character is yet superficial and lacks personal development.

But even though Torres is underdeveloped, Chicago PD's fans find him to be a wonderful addition to the Intelligence Section.

But he is at risk of staying underdeveloped if the showrunners keep on ignoring him. It'll be a pity if a draft of fresh air for the series that Dante is turns stale.
