Things are wrapping up for The Sandman just in a couple of weeks when the show’s last chapter is being released on Netflix, but it’s fair to say it has been having its issues for quite some time now.
While The Sandman’s first season received all praise possible, the second instalment, coming to the streamer’s platform in two parts, so far didn’t seem as impressive to neither critics nor viewers.
This was what resulted in several fans having second thoughts about their decision to give The Sandman’s season 2 a watch.
However, those who have been obsessed with the story even before Neil Gaiman’s comic book turned into a series have been vocal about the TV version getting seriously underestimated, while the issue isn’t even there after all.

Many shows do tend to let its storyline go down the drain by the time they reach their final seasons, but that’s not The Sandman’s case, as many of both the series and the original comic book’s fans tried to convince a Redditor asking whether The Sandman’s second season was worth the shot after all.
“Yes it is. It is great. The negative reviews are affected by the Neil Gaiman recent controversy, season's 2 quality is still at the top”, Automatic_Exit3178 commented.
“Some of the camera angles are straight from the comic, so maybe a bit of fan service, and maybe not everything makes sense if you haven't read it. I definitely wouldn't tell anyone not to watch it just because it's not 100% perfect. Because nothing is”, SparkyFrog added.

“As a seasoned comic book reader since the 90s, I think the first 6 episodes are excellent”, i_like_cake_96 chimed in.
