'It Ends with Us' Drama Goes On: Another Actress Accuses Justin Baldoni of "Harassing" Her

Isabela Ferrer, who played the young Lily in It Ends with Us, also became embroiled in the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Here's what she and her lawyers claim.
In early August 2024, It Ends with Us, a drama about domestic violence starring Blake Lively, was released. Unexpectedly, the movie about a florist found itself at the center of an ongoing scandal that shows no signs of slowing down.
According to Ferrer, Baldoni Is Using Pressure Tactics on Her
Actress Isabela Ferrer is at the center of a new round of legal confrontations between director Justin Baldoni and his film's star, Blake Lively. The conflict, which began with Lively's accusations of harassment by Baldoni, has now spread to Ferrer.
Ferrer has made serious accusations against Baldoni. According to the actress, Baldoni is using legal proceedings not to find the truth, but rather to pressure and persecute her.
The catalyst was a petition from his lawyers complaining to the court about her lack of cooperation. Ferrer's lawyers counter that this statement is an unfair tactic in itself.
Ferrer and Her Lawyers Claim Baldoni's Subpoena Is a Way to "Harass" Her
The key stumbling block was the financial issue. Ferrer's contract for filming It Ends with Us includes a clause that guarantees legal protection and compensation for legal costs from Baldoni's production company.
However, the studio is allegedly sabotaging these commitments. Ferrer claims that she was offered coverage of the costs, but only if she relinquished all control over her actions in court and concealed certain facts about the case.
According to Ferrer's lawyers, “Baldoni made no effort to tailor the subpoena towards the production of new or different materials, demonstrating that the real aim of the Baldoni Subpoena, as well as the pending Motion, is to harass Ms. Ferrer.”
How Did the Baldoni & Lively Conflict Start?
Late last year, Blake Lively filed a complaint, followed by a formal lawsuit, against Justin Baldoni. She claimed that he sexually harassed her.
Lively also claimed that Baldoni created a hostile work environment on set and tried to organize a smear campaign against her with the help of his production company.
In response, Baldoni filed a counterclaim against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. He claimed that the couple "hijacked" his film and tried to destroy his reputation with false accusations of sexual harassment.
The director and his publicists accuse Lively and Reynolds of extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy and are seeking $400 million in damages.
