The Hawaiian movie star revealed the one legend of the industry he can't help but admire despite him being retired for years.

After years of being largely unknown, the Hawaiian actor Jason Momoa was launched into international stardom with Game of Thrones where he played Khal Drogo. Ever since becoming Emilia Clarke 's on-screen husband, Momoa's been loved and respected by fans and critics alike.

After Game of Thrones (which killed his character pretty soon), the actor moved on to play Aquaman in several DCEU movies; then, his most well-known recent feat was the part of the villain called Dante Reyes in Fast X, the latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. It's safe to say that the Hawaiian actor has been quite productive in the past years.

The audience loves Jason Momoa, too. Despite him coming off as a scary and intimidating giant at first, he's actually a really sweet person, and none of his co-stars have anything bad to say about Momoa. Both on the set and back home, everyone loves Jason; but who does he love, then? Out of all the actors, of course. We don't want to get unprofessional here.

While some actors are cautious about praising their colleagues, the Hawaiian star has no issues with that. During a conversation with Rotten Tomatoes, Momoa pointed out his favorite actor of all time immediately and praised him enthusiastically. Apparently, Jason's heart solely belongs to The Shining star!

“I’m a huge Jack Nicholson fan... Everything from Five Easy Pieces, another one that’s just phenomenal to me… Yeah, he’s a god to me. I love him. I don’t know how to properly explain why, but he’s just fantastic. His sense of humor, his intensity, his charm, you know. There’s only one Jack. I love him," Momoa revealed.

Jack Nicholson is truly one of the greatest actors, but unfortunately, he's been retired for quite some time now and is leading a quiet and secluded life these days. Well, at least his fans don't ever forget him — including the ones who have a bunch of fans themselves like Jason Momoa.
