Seems like the Better Call Saul star is always eager to explore new avenues beyond just doing movies and TV shows.

Bob Odenkirk is best known for his role of Saul Goodman in Better Call Saul, and he is currently nominated for 2023 Emmys for his portrayal of the criminal lawyer.

You might have seen Odenkirk in some other TV shows or movies, but what not many people know about him is that he also has a history with music. Odenkirk has taken part in a couple of interesting musical projects.

In a hilarious music video for their sketch series called W/Bob and David, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross parody the world of bro-country opulence. The former stars of the iconic show Mr. Show portray Banes and Dunfrey, two redneck characters living in a mansion.

The comedic sketch perfectly captures the satirical style that Odenkirk and Cross became known for in the '90s. Their aim with W/Bob and David was to create something fresh and new while having fun. It's a departure from their previous work and a testament to their comedic prowess.

The first and only season of W/ Bob & David aired its five episodes on Netflix in 2015.

Bob's musical adventures go back even further. In 1997, he, David Cross, and John Ennis starred in a music video for the song Sugarcube by Yo La Tengo. The video featured the trio as professors at a rock academy, sharing humorous lessons on rock music.

For years, the video was difficult to find, but luckily, a quality version was uploaded to YouTube. This version is an enhanced director's cut, featuring supplementary scenes and dialogue, making it even more enjoyable for fans.

But that's not all. Odenkirk has also made a surprising appearance in the music video for the song Karaoke by Beach Bunny. The band, fronted by Lili Trifilio, describes the track as a reflection of infatuation, fleeting feelings, and the uncertainties of attraction.

Odenkirk takes on the role of a spaceship captain in the video. It's refreshing to see an actor of his caliber embrace different art forms and collaborate with up-and-coming musicians.
