Latest 'She-Hulk' episode continues the sweet tradition of Easter eggs and references galore.
The newest episode of the first season of 'She-Hulk' has a big surprise for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – in the form of a reference to some popular Marvel characters in the credits. Disney seems to be hinting that all of these superheroes can be seen on the big screen in the near future, and judging by what characters are actually referenced in the scene, that will happen soon enough.
We should all thank Pug and his surprisingly big shoe collection for the newest Marvel comics reference. Here's the complete list of Marvel characters that are not yet in the MCU per se, but have shoes on the wall in the credit sequence:
- The Thing
- Ghost Rider
We all know that Namor's debut is very close: we are going to watch him defeating some bad guys and teaming up with Wakandians in 'Black Panther' sequel, set to release in November. Deadpool alongside Cable are pretty much confirmed as part of the MCU, what with 'Deadpool 3' nearing production. And Man-Thing's debut is in the cards, too: eagle-eyed viewers already spotted him in the 'Werewolf by Night' trailer.
Although Kevin Feige hinted that we won't see an X-Men movie for a while, despite Patrick Stewart's Professor X appearing in 'The Multiverse of Madness', fans are happy that at least Marvel can just reference X-Men properties whenever they want now. And it's certainly not the first time X-Men are referenced in 'She-Hulk': Wolverine Easter egg in one of the previous episodes practically drove fans mad with excitement.
