Nostalgia meets modernity.

I always get excited when I see new projects starting to take shape, and the latest news about Coyote vs. ACME set for 2026 release has definitely caught my attention. The marketing campaign has finally kicked into gear, and the first official poster has just been released.

This film is quite an intriguing hybrid — part live-action, part animation — featuring none other than the iconic Coyote from the Looney Tunes universe.

The story revolves around him taking on a corrupt corporation called ACME, which has been supplying faulty tools to catch the famous Road Runner. Imagine that! A classic cartoon character stepping into a live-action/animation mash-up to fight corporate evil.

The cast is impressive: John Cena, Lana Condor, and Will Forte bring their talents to this quirky project, directed by Dave Green, known for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2016). Filming wrapped in 2023, but due to rights issues, the release was delayed. Now, fans can look forward to its premiere on August 28th, 2026.
