Love Village season 3 couples still together: which of the five pairs who left the Mount Fuji house made it?
Five couples rang the bell and walked out of Love Village's red house at the foot of Mount Fuji, and one of them kept a much bigger secret than a relationship for a whole year.
Love Village (Ai no Sato) is Netflix Japan's reality dating show for singles aged 35 to 60, many of them carrying divorces, losses and illnesses. Season 3 moved into a vintage red house near Mount Fuji, which the residents renovate by hand while they cook, farm and talk through their pasts. Becky and Atsushi Tamura host. The rule is simple: when someone falls for another resident, they ring the love bell and confess, and if the answer is yes, both leave the house as a couple. The 23 episodes dropped weekly from October 6 to November 3, 2026, but the season was filmed in 2025, so every couple has had about a year of real life since.
Hakase and Muuko: married
Muuko, 38, works at a children's home, has been married once and wants to become a foster parent with her partner. Hakase, 50, is a doctor who had never been married and arrived as a new resident in episode 7. In episode 12, Muuko rang the bell for him, and Hakase proposed on the spot.
That wasn't TV-proposal talk. The episode shows their marriage registration, dated October 24, 2025. Exactly one year later, on October 24, 2026, their first wedding anniversary, Hakase returned to social media to announce he was on the show. Their wedding photos were taken at Rockhart Castle in Gunma, and Muuko's bridal makeup was done by Cathy, the resident who left the house early in the season after Baron turned her down.
KEI and Wakame
KEI, 48, works in real estate management and modeling and had never been married. Wakame, 43, runs a restaurant, has been married twice and is a single mother of three. In episode 15, KEI rang the bell and confessed with an improvised piano performance, and they left together.
Since then, nothing official. KEI posted a photo of a bar counter on Threads, a fan asked if it was Wakame's restaurant, and KEI answered with "๐ซฃใใใใจใใใใใพใโช" ("thank you"). He also promised to share memories from filming once the full season was out.
Arashi and Omari
Arashi, 42, is a photographer from Niigata who already had dating-show experience from Ainori. Omari, 37, does makeup and nails for elderly clients and is a single mother. Both arrived in episode 13, and things got complicated fast: Arashi was also drawn to L, and new resident Danji showed up in episode 18 with eyes on Omari.
In episode 21, while smoking salmon with Omari, Arashi realized how calm he felt with her and pictured a future that included her family. He rang the bell, and then admitted he'd had doubts because of L. Omari took 33 minutes to answer. She said yes.

Pakuchi and L
L didn't talk about her past for most of the season. When she finally did, Pakuchi learned that she became a mother young and lost her child in a traffic accident on Christmas Eve, and that more losses followed. Pakuchi cried, then rang the bell:
ใไฟบใฎๆๆใฎใจใใซLใฎๅฃฐใ่ใใใฆใปใใใ ("When my life ends, I want to hear L's voice.")
L's answer was the most unusual of the season. They left as partners, not as a dating couple: L said the trust wasn't there yet, and that she would ask him out herself when it was. After they walked out, she told him ใๅฅฝใใ, "I like you."
Oyabun and Banboo
Oyabun lost her husband 22 years ago, when her son was 7, and raised him alone. She left the house mid-season for medical treatment and came back in episode 16. Before they were ever a couple, Banboo told her he wanted to visit her husband's grave with her: ใไธ็ทใซ่กใฃใฆใใใใใ ("I want to go with you.")
In the final episode, Oyabun rang the bell herself. After filming, they made that grave visit together, and Oyabun introduced Banboo to her late husband.
So who made it?
As of November 6, 2026, Hakase and Muuko are the only Season 3 couple confirmed together. The other four pairs haven't announced a breakup or a relationship, since the cast kept quiet until the final episodes aired on November 3.
The answers should come soon. Netflix Japan has two Ai no Ura reunion specials on its YouTube channel: a resident gathering on November 13 and a couples meeting on November 18.
