The trauma doesn’t go away so easily.

Summary:

  • Mayor Of Kingstown is a Paramount Plus hit television series created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon.
  • The series depicts the life of Kingstown, the town built around the prison, with Jeremy Renner as its mayor, Mike McLusky.
  • Jeremy Renner is returning to film season 3 of the series, which will be his first acting job since the snowplow accident.
  • The actor admits he has confidence issues and is taking it one step at a time.

There is probably nothing more frightening than being involved in a life-threatening incident. However, what many people fail to talk about when sharing their experiences is the process of getting back to normal life once the physical recovery is over.

While many have the privilege of privacy and can afford to deal with the trauma on their own terms, Hollywood celebrities are expected to bounce back faster than ever and be open about their case.

While no one has the right to demand the details of a public figure's private life, some are happy to volunteer.

Thanks to Marvel action star Jeremy Renner, people are not only aware of the dangers snowplows can pose, but also of the recovery struggles a person can face after such accidents. Fortunately, the actor is safe and sound and back to work. However, the ongoing battle to regain his life continues.

Will Jeremy Renner Be Back For Mayor of Kingstown S3?

Jeremy Renner, who has been very open and honest about his recovery process from the beginning until now, continues to speak his heart out.

In an interview with People, the actor opened up about his insecurities coming back to work after such a long break and getting back into the flow:

“I don’t know if I’m looking forward to it. I try to just do everything kind of step by step here. That’s one foot in front of the other. Then you’re walking. <...> I’m excited about the character and, of course, all the people involved and all that in the storyline, but for me, I’m just tentative of confidence in work,” the actor admitted.

Filming for the third season of Mayor Of Kingstown began earlier this month, so hopefully the actor will get into the swing of things and pick up his character where he left off.

Jeremy Renner won't be the only regular returning for season 3. Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, and Nishi Munshi will all be back, as well as Michael Beach, who will be bumped up from recurring to regular this time around.

If you're looking forward to the season 3 premiere of Mayor of Kingstown, be sure to keep an eye out for the release date. Until then, you can refresh your memory of the previous two seasons by streaming the show on Paramount Plus.
