We might finally see this dark alliance.

Moon Knight, starring the talented Oscar Isaac, is one of the best TV shows, released on Disney Plus. Fans are giving green light to the second season, and let's hope we'll get to see it.

While Moon Knight feels like it has almost nothing to do with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are many opportunities to make Moon Knight a big player. More than that, some fans believe that Moon Knight season 2 might be setting up a highly anticipated Marvel team.

Based on a theory posted on Reddit, there's a strong possibility that Moon Knight season 2 will introduce Rama-Tut as the main antagonist. Rama-Tut is a time-traveling pharaoh from the future. He is a variant of the currently biggest Marvel villain, Kang the Conqueror.

This variant appeared in a post-credit scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The theory suggests that Rama-Tut's introduction could also pave the way for the formation of the Midnight Sons, a supernatural team in the Marvel universe.

The team has had various members over the years, including Ghost Rider, Blade, Morbius, Doctor Strange, and, of course, Moon Knight. Their stories often revolve around darker and more mystical elements of the Marvel Universe.

However, some fans believe that Wong might be the one to assemble this team, possibly in a post-credit scene for Moon Knight season 2. And if this theory holds, the Midnight Sons might assemble to take down Rama-Tut, most likely in a separate project.

The big question is when should we expect Moon Knight season 2. As of now, there's no official release date. The first season left us on a cliffhanger in 2022, introducing us to Marc Spector's third personality, Jake Lockley.

Given the show's success and the unresolved mysteries, it's highly likely that we'll get a second season. Some estimations suggest it could be released in 2026 or 2027, but nothing's confirmed yet.

If the second season does come out, let's hope we'll see Jonathan Majors ' name in the cast list. This will automatically make Rama-Tut the villain of season 2, and potentially set up Midnight Sons.
