Marvel's multiverse is a tricky place – multiple characters coexist as variants, with their characteristics, goals and even faces differing from each other.
So, it's not surprising that anything can happen, including Deadpool's long-awaited introduction to the MCU.
According to recent rumor, that is exactly what will happen in one of the post-credit scenes of 'Doctor Strange in the Universe of Madness'. The scene in question will serve as an introduction to 'Deadpool 3', which will be set in the MCU.
It looks like 'Deadpool 3' will expand the narrative of Time Variance Authority, adding new characters and possibly making it a bigger player in Phase 4. And it's certainly in the spirit of very particular 'Deadpool' humor – one Ryan Reynolds' beloved character kills the hated other, even though they are both actually the same character, but from different universes.
However, it's important to remember that it's still just a rumor. Many fans over at Twitter are already poking fun at it.
The upcoming 'Deadpool 3' will be directed by 'Free Guy' Shawn Levy and will be rated R, which is a first for the MCU.
