A crossover that nobody asked for, but everyone needed.

Fans are eagerly anticipating Daredevil 's return in the upcoming Disney Plus' TV series Daredevil: Born Again that is considered to be a soft reboot of the character after 3 seasons of Netflix 's show.

The filming of the show faced some problems due to the writers strike but is still expected to be released in 2024.

At the recent Fan Expo Dallas, Charlie Cox, the lead of Daredevil, and his co-star, Vincent D'Onofrio, sat on a panel and answered questions from fans.

It's no secret that crossovers are a huge trend nowadays, especially if we are talking about the superhero genre.

So it's not surprising that Cox keeps getting bombarded with questions about possible team-ups. People just can't resist the idea of bringing different heroes together.

An interesting connection was brought up during the panel, when someone mentioned that the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles took some inspiration from Daredevil comics, and Cox, who plays the blind superhero Matt Murdock in Daredevil, was thrilled to talk about it.

Cox said that the people who made TMNT actually liked Daredevil a lot.

In Daredevil, a dangerous waste blinded Matt Murdock. Well, a similar spill also got into the sewers and transformed the Turtles.

That's why there's a character named Stick in Daredevil and another one called Splinter in the Ninja Turtles. Or take the villain groups, the Hand (In Daredevil) and the Foot (in TMNT).

Cox couldn't help but express his excitement and desire to see the Turtles pop up in Daredevil, even though he acknowledged that it would likely remain just a dream.

Even though the Turtles have had some cool crossovers, they have never hung out with Daredevil before. It would be totally epic to see this mind-blowing crossover.

While the crossover of our dreams may not happen in reality, we can still enjoy the adventures of Daredevil and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles separately.

Who knows, maybe one day the stars will align, and these iconic characters will finally meet. Until then, let's keep our fingers crossed and continue dreaming about the ultimate superhero team-up.
