Did someone say "book-accurate", "handsome", and "not Tom Holland"?

'The Hunger Games ' fans welcomed the first cast member of the upcoming prequel 'The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes ', and it's Tom Blyth, who is set to portray young Coriolanus Snow.

The future ruler of Panem could not have enjoyed a warmer welcome, with fans quickly coming up with the list of features that make the star of 'Billy the Kid' a perfect young Snow. Among those are the typical acidic face expression (although fans had a different expression for that…), large intimidating eyes, and handsomeness.

However, there's a twist: the hair color.

One fan would actually opt for someone more handsome than Blyth (in their view), but it looks like young Snow having blond hair is a must.

Some people are happy that the prequel creators did not go for a mainstream actor such as Tom Holland or Timothee Chalamet to play the future Panem ruler.

The fact that Blyth has not yet enjoyed a lot of media attention or participated in a lot of projects also got fans hyped.

Still, one may know Blyth from 'Billy the Kid', the Western series about the eponymous gunfighter. Now, the British actor is on track to impersonate another villain, this time fictional but no less intimidating.

'The Ballad on Songbirds and Snakes' is due to premiere in 2023, and the rest of the cast remains a mystery. The movie is a prequel to 'The Hunger Games', also based on a book by author Susan Collins.
