Marvel's own "Superman mustache" problem has been addressed... in an unexpected way.

Tenoch Huerta, who portrayed Namor the Submariner in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, has responded to Marvel's bizarre editing decision regarding his... bulge.

Days earlier, fans were stunned to find that the final cut of Wakanda Forever digitally altered Namor's bulge to make it look less big.

Huerta's joking take on the situation, however, offers a different perspective.

"The only thing that I can say is: the original was the photo on the right. Without [the bulge]! That's original," Huerta joked when speaking with Rolling Stone. "No, I mean, I'm not going to lie to people. Every man in the world, we have fragile masculinity, but not in that issue. I will say, the right one, the real one is the photo on the right."

It is not immediately clear if Huerta was joking about the bulge. Previously, fans noticed that Namor's swim trunks were more defined in size in the promotional materials than in the theatrical version of the film.

Marvel Got Its "Superman Mustache" Problem In a Form of Namor's Bulge

People were quick to draw parallels to DC's "Superman mustache problem," when Henry Cavill 's red-caped superhero had his face digitally altered to hide the actor's facial hair in Joss Whedon's Justice League.

However, Marvel has not officially commented on the bizarre detail. To examine the undoubtedly important scenes with Namor's bulge, fans may want to wait until Wakanda Forever hits Disney Plus. A digital release date for the film has not yet been set.

Wakanda Forever premiered in theaters on November 11, wrapping up MCU 's Phase Four.
