Quentin Tarantino in The Studio Season 2 Is a Perfect Fan Idea for Apple TV to Consider

After Martin Scorsese's involvement in The Studio Season 1, fans are pretty sure that Apple TV could get the mastermind behind Pulp Fiction and Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood on board.
Seth Rogen's satirical comedy The Studio has quickly become a standout hit on Apple TV. The series, which premiered on March 26, 2025, follows Rogen's character, Matt Remick, the new head of the fictional Continental Studios, as he struggles with his new position and balancing it with genuine love for movies.
Given the success of the first season, it came as no surprise when Apple TV+ renewed The Studio for a second season. And fans have already come up with some suggestions for where Season 2 might go. One idea in particular seems brilliant, given The Studio's love of inside jokes and celebrity cameos.
“An episode about [Quentin Tarantino] pitching them his grand final 10th movie would be great in my opinion, or at least something along those lines. They could get Martin Scorsese to do the show, I'm sure they could get Tarantino,” suggested Redditor Creative-Shape-8537.
“Maybe but an episode where he is pitching what the Continental team is convinced will be an awful money-loser would be hilarious,” another Redditor NotTravisKelce added.
Some argued that Tarantino is supposedly "too self-aware" to do so, though the director has not shied away from cameos and sketches throughout his career.
“He wouldn't do that. If he is so precious about having ten perfect films he isn't going to use it as a punchline in a show. But it would be funny to have QT doing something else in the show, like something along the lines of his scene in [Four] Rooms,” Redditor Welcomefriends85 said.
There’s Enough Drama Around Tarantino’s Tenth Movie Already
Quentin Tarantino's highly anticipated final film, The Movie Critic, has been officially shelved. Initially announced in March 2023, the film was set to be Tarantino's tenth and concluding feature, aligning with his long-standing plan to retire after ten movies. But then Tarantino changed his mind and canceled the project.
Now, the “tenth movie” is a mystery again. Exploring that in The Studio Season 2, especially if Tarantino himself shows up for a cameo, would be an interesting idea if the director would be up for it.
Currently, there is no official information on Quentin Tarantino’s potential involvement in The Studio season 2.
