Quentin Tarantino’s Next Movie Gets an Unexpected Exciting Update

In the past couple of years, Quentin Tarantino has been struggling with the idea of what his final movie will be like, eventually coming up with something and then tossing it away.

Around a year ago, it was reported that Tarantino had finally made up his mind, still sticking to the idea of directing only 10 movies in total and making a drama, with Brad Pitt in the leading role, the last project in his career.

Not much time passed before the director changed his mind again, shelving the project and thus leaving some space for a new fresh idea. However, Tarantino might have just come back on track after a year of reflections.

It seems like the proclaimed director might have finally decided what he would love to conclude his long standing career with as, according to World of Reel’s Leora Witkowski, Tarantino is rumoured to have started preparing things for filming something new.

There’s no saying of whether it will still be The Movie Critic, which previously booked Brad Pitt for one of the leading roles, or a completely different film, though the news, even not confirmed officially, spread a wave of excitement all across social media, and not only because Tarantino’s movies are always something to anticipate.

As the same report highlights, there’s a big chance the director will choose California as the primary filming location and will most likely create a solid collection of jobs for local filmmakers.

This comes as a promising turning point as the region has been severely damaged by the wildfires recently, making the movie industry go into a stagnation almost as big as it had during the 2020 pandemic.

Quentin Tarantino’s Recent Revelations Contradict the New Filming Rumour

Despite all the excitement about things moving forward for Tarantino’s next movie, it might actually not be the case, at least for now.

The rumour about the director’s preparations for a new project goes into a big contrast with what he had to say roughly a month ago, highlighting that he wasn’t in hurry for the next movie due to at least one reason.

Being in attendance at the Sundance Film Festival back in January, Tarantino revealed he’s currently aiming at being present in the life of his young children who are currently 5 and 2.5 years old.

“The idea of jumping on a voyage when they’re too young to understand it is not enticing to me. I kind of want to not do whatever movie I end up doing until my son is at least 6. That way he’ll know what’s going on, he’ll be there, and it will be a memory for the rest of his life”, the director added.
