Do you miss Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire as Spider-Men? No worries, you may see both actors wearing their red and blue costumes as early as next year, rumors have it.

Both Maguire and Garfield's Spider-Men became significant characters that impacted their respective generations, each in his unique way. Tobey Maguire 's character was bitten by a spider in 2002, and Andrew Garfield first appeared as Peter Parker ten years later, in 2012.

Both actors put on their Spider-Men suits again in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home. The beloved characters were unveiled as different versions of Tom Holland 's Spider-Man scattered in the multiverse.

Fans loved the idea of Maguire and Garfield returning to their iconic roles so much that No Way Home has become a box-office hit and fans started requesting for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 with Andrew Garfield and Spider-Man 4 with Tobey Maguire to be produced. And Sony seems to have heard the fans loud and clear.

The Flash Not Getting a Trailer Is Somehow Ezra Miller' s Fault, According to Fans

Though many MCU fans were expecting to next see Maguire and Garfield in Avengers: Secret Wars, it actually could happen much sooner. Garfield and Maguire's Spider-Men are rumored to appear in either 2023's Across the Spider-Verse or 2024's Beyond the Spider-Verse, according to The Cosmic Circus.

The rumors suggest that both characters will get cameos in the animated film. However, the situation might change quickly, and with many fans wishing Maguire and Garfield would take a larger role, Sony might find an opportunity to give the fans what they want.

Besides Maguire and Garfield's Spider-Men, Miles Morales and a new team of Spider-People might be joined by other iconic Spideys, the same source claims. For example, Tom Holland's Spider-Man is rumored to appear in 2023's Across the Spider-Verse.

More than that, Yuri Lowenthal, Josh Keaton, and Christopher Daniel Barnes could also join the sequel. Yuri Lowenthal provided the voice for Insomniac's PlayStation Spider-Man game. Josh Keaton played Spidey in The Spectacular Spider-Man TV series, running from 2008 to 2009. Christopher Daniel Barnes voiced Peter Parker in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, airing on the Fox Kids Network from 1994 to 1998.

Though none of these appearances were so far confirmed by Sony Pictures, Marvel, or Disney, the studios are not likely to miss the chance to make money on fans' nostalgia. Such a Spider-Man cameofest will leave no fan indifferent.
