Stephen Graham’s Chaotic Show With 100% RT Score Is Leaving Netflix in May

It’s time to watch another hit show from Adolescence’s production team before it’s forever gone from the platform.
It’s been a feverish several weeks for Netflix ’s brand new biggest hit Adolescence which keeps setting new records for the streamer’s history almost a month after its release.
The series that stunned the audiences with its gripping and pretty disheartening story isn’t only about the plot line though, as Adolescence came as one of few shows to bring its viewers an immersive cinematic experience thanks to a single-shot technique used in each of four episodes.
Now that many fans of the hit series are craving something more like this, Adolescence’s production team has another similar show to offer, but you better hurry up before it leaves Netflix in just around a month.
Boiling Point Is Another Masterpiece From Adolescence Creators
Long before the streamer’s current massive hit came along, Adolescence’s director Philip Barantini and lead actor Stephen Graham teamed up for making an even messier kitchen drama Boiling Point.
The series has a long history to track down, initially conceived as a short film also starring Graham. It then evolved into a 2021 feature movie of the same name which, just like Adolescence, was filmed with just one long shot.
Lastly, the film later on turned into a one-season show, also made with the same single-shot technique.
Initially, Boiling Point has its events unfolding in a posh London restaurant where the staff, led by Graham’s Andy Jones, has to make the best of their efforts to please the guests on one of the busiest nights during the entire year.
Things get even more complicated when a health and safety inspector comes with a surprise visit, which jeopardises everything Andy has been working for all these years.
The follow-up show was released in 2023, picking the story up six months later when Vinette Robinson’s Carly is managing her own restaurant with former boss Andy’s staff, and is now set to leave Netflix in the US on May 1.
Meanwhile, Adolescence Is Officially One of the Most Watched Shows Ever on Netflix
While the Adolescence’s fans might want to check out something else from its team on the same platform, the hit show itself has recently reached another major milestone, now sitting on the 9th position in the top-10 of Netflix’s most-watched English-language series of all time.
The series reached almost 100M views in the past three weeks since its release, surpassing Bridgerton ’s season 2 and Stranger Things ’ season 3.
It’s currently expected to rank even higher on the list since there’s nothing more but another 3M views to garner before leaving The Night Agent’s season 1 and Fool Me Once behind as well.
