Taika Waititi Spices Things Up as He Hints at Thor's Love Life in 'Love and Thunder'
The director is clearly on track to add more love to that thunder.
Taika Waititi has warned fans against assuming too much about the possible love stories in the upcoming Thor sequel. So if you were confident that Thor will hit Jane Foster up, you might want to prepare for some surprises.
"I think most people will assume that the love story is between Chris and Natalie," Waititi told Empire in an interview. "I can't promise that what people think is going to happen in this film will happen."
Naturally, the remarks immediately got people talking and offering new potential love interests for Thor.
Lots of ideas out there.
Many fans suspect that there will be some unresolved romantic tension between Thor and Peter Quill, particularly based on that long stare the God of Thunder gave Starlord in the first 'Love and Thunder' trailer.
'Love and Thunder' arrives in theatres on July 8, with Thor embarking on a quest to find inner peace and understand himself better. Of course, the self-exploring journey could not go uninterrupted by the sudden return of the love of his life and devious endeavors by Gorr the God Butcher.
