February kicks off with the highly anticipated remake of the 2005 film starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The story follows two professional spies who land a new job with quite favorable terms. Except everything would be a lot easier if it weren't for the main condition — pretending to be a happily married suburban couple. Expect tons of action, humor and steamy love-hate dynamics as played by Donald Glover and Maya Erskine.

What if the characters played by Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy in Richard Linklater's Before trilogy had continued to meet at random for, say, another 20 years without forming a relationship? That would be the plot of David Nicholls' novel One Day. The plot follows Dexter and Emma as they continue to see each other over the years on their one important day, June 15, when they both spent the night together after graduating from Edinburgh University.

Based on Jeffery Deaver's The Never Game, Tracker will follow a lone survivalist named Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) as he travels the vast expanses of the United States in an old RV, helping ordinary people and the law with investigations thanks to his honed tracking skills.

4. Avatar: The Last Airbender

The story will revolve around the four nations divided by the elements of water, earth, fire, and air, whose peace has been shattered by the Fire Nation. The only one who can restore peace is the master of all four elements, the Avatar (Gordon Cormier), but he disappeared, and now there is no one to stop the Fire Nation's imperial ambitions. The original series, created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Brian Konieczko, is highly regarded for its deep world-building inspired by East Asian and Native American cultures.

3. The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live

Following the events of The Walking Dead finale, we already learned what fate awaited Negan and Maggie thanks to Dead City, and found out what post-apocalyptic Paris looks like through Daryl's eyes in his personal spin-off, Daryl Dixon. Now it's time to find out what sinister adventures await some of the franchise's most beloved characters, Rick Grimes, who is presumed dead, and Michonne, who has gone in search of her lover.

This is a new interpretation of the historical novel by James Clavell. The story follows John Blackthorne (based on a real historical figure William Adams), an English navigator of the 16th and 17th centuries, who is stranded on the shores of Japan after a shipwreck and is torn between the local warlords, the Portuguese and the Jesuits. Blackthorne is taken into the care, first as a hostage and then as a servant and friend, of the powerful Lord Toranaga (based on Tokugawa Ieyasu), who aspires to become the most powerful person in Japan, the shōgun.

A spin-off of The Good Wife, Elsbeth will tell the story of a neurodiverse and incredibly eccentric Chicago lawyer, played by Carrie Preston, who will help solve more than a few of the NYPD's coldest cases thanks to her unconventional perspective on reality.
