The policeman, who wanted to arrest the young man, is surprised to find that the boy is not affected by his powerful spells due to his physical power and offers him a deal. Mash must enter the Magic Academy and become the Divine Visionary – the best student in the class.
In return, the policeman will not report the boy and will leave him and his father alone. Mash, who only dreams of a quiet everyday life, easily agrees to the deal and becomes a student at a prestigious academy.
It Is a Perfect Harry Potter Parody
The adaptation of Hajime Komoto's manga is a comedy that parodies almost every fantasy work about wizards, especially Harry Potter. It is impossible not to notice the allusion to Hogwarts: the local magical academy even has its own version of the Sorting Hat, not to mention the Houses, robes and wands.
Some elements are not different from the original source at all – mandrakes, for example, are still screaming plants used in potions.
The headmaster in this anime is also an old and powerful gentleman who values courage, kindness, and the willingness to protect others even at the cost of one's own life. He is also absent from the school at the most crucial moment (yes, classic Dumbledore).
