The White Lotus Featured This Reality TV Show 5 Stars You Never Noticed

With its third season almost wrapping up and a fourth one getting into the production soon, The White Lotus has long been Mike White’s hit brainchild with more than a dozen of Emmy statuettes under its belt.

Started out back in 2021, the show has so far featured plenty of prominent figures in both leading and cameo roles, bringing more compelling characters on its board with every new episode.

Naturally, The White Lotus even became a turning point in some of its actors’ careers, as the show’s biggest star Jennifer Coolidge has repeatedly stated Mike White’s feverish drama took her out of a long-lasting hiatus.

However, The White Lotus’ cast isn’t quite limited to movie stars only, with the creator also teaming up with a bunch of familiar faces from the reality show he once was featured in himself.

The White Lotus Has Already Featured 5 Survivor Stars in Cameo Roles

A couple of years prior he started working on The White Lotus’ season 1, Mike White tried out his surviving skills during season 37 of Survivor, a reality competition show that follows its contestants while they’re looking for food, fire and shelter for themselves on an isolated location.

Despite getting way too close to winning the competition and then losing after all, White might have received an even bigger prize for the challenging mission, probably using his experience to develop The White Lotus later on.

As it turns out, the filmmaker has been keeping good memories about his times on the show and staying in touch with his fellow participants, with some of those even featured in his hit series’ multiple seasons.

Starting off, The White Lotus’ season 1 sees Alec Merlino in the role of Hutch, a waiter and bartender at the Maui resort and spa; having appeared in 5 out of 6 episodes, the reality star can so far boast of the biggest cameo role.

The show’s second season then features Angelina Keeley and Kara Kay as two unnamed girls relaxing near the pool at the luxurious resort in Sicily.

Lastly, in season 3 Natalie Cole and Carl Boudreaux are seen having a short interaction with Natasha Rothwell’s Belinda while out at a dinner.

The White Lotus Season 3 Finale Might Have One More Survivor Cameo

While fans can only guess whose murder they will yet have to witness in the ongoing season’s last episode, the show might be preparing one more surprise for those who enjoyed Survivor’s season 37 back in the day.

Despite nothing being clear about her casting in The White Lotus, the hit reality show’s other former participant Parvati Shallow was previously seen attending the new instalment’s premiere back in February, which might be a sign of another Survivor cameo coming in one of the two remaining episodes.

The White Lotus’ season 3 episode 7 is scheduled to air on March 30.
