The White Lotus S3 E3 Song Change Might Have Been a Huge Spoiler We’re Not Ready For

With already 3 episodes in, The White Lotus’s long-awaited third season gradually goes down into another big mess now that the show has collided two of its recurring characters from the first instalment.

Based on an idea the show’s creator Mike White got from his fever dream, The White Lotus’ new season now takes place in a luxurious resort in Thailand, once again uniting a set of new and pretty mysterious characters who will soon have to face something gruesome.

Despite the season still running for 5 more weeks to come, the show’s return to the screens has just set up a new compelling storyline that later on might bring us an unexpected and probably even tragic plot twist.

The White Lotus’ Season 3 Episode 3 Reunites Season 1’s Belinda and Greg

The only familiar faces in the show’s new season, Belinda and Greg, here introduced as Gary, have an awkward encounter in the recently released episode 3 as it sees the former desperately trying to remember where exactly she could’ve seen Greg.

The latter denies having met Belinda before, though she’s pretty convinced it’s not true, stating that in this case she met Greg’s doppelgänger.

However, what’s even more promising in the whole situation is that Belinda seems to be pretty sure about Greg being married to Tanya who, for obvious reasons, isn’t there anymore.

Despite Greg’s attempts to convince her that she’s wrong, Belinda does suspect something vague and obscure, which isn’t wrong either, considering that Greg wanted to have Tanya killed by his friend Quentin. The latter didn’t have to get his hands dirty though, and Tanya found her death herself after falling off Quentin’s yacht in an attempt to escape.

Belinda and Greg’s Eerie Encounter Suggests Belinda Might Get Killed by Season 3’s Finale

The episode’s encounter scene gains an even bigger importance when the viewers realises its The White Lotus’ season 1 theme song that plays throughout Belinda and Greg’s conversation, as if the new instalment was forcing its audiences to go back to the events of its predecessor.

In the scene, however, it’s pretty visible how annoyed and uncomfortable Greg is while Belinda tries to dig into the truth of what happened to the former’s wife. With all that in mind, it’s safe to say she won’t let it pass and will go further into her own investigation, most likely connecting the dots and finding out about Greg being involved in Tanya’s death.

If this is indeed the setup for the new season’s mysterious murder, Belinda has high chances to become the one who won’t get out alive before The White Lotus wraps its third season up on April 6.
