The White Lotus Season 3 Finale Trailer Promises an Even More Gruesome Ending to It All

With just one final episode to go, The White Lotus ’ season 3 is as close as it could ever be to finally unrevealing the big mystery.

The current instalment’s finale, now scheduled to air on April 6, has been long teased in previous episodes, but still kept things quiet ahead of another portion of major revelations.

However, a new trailer released ahead of the finale’s premiere on Sunday might suggest otherwise, featuring several pretty weird shots that might have helped The White Lotus’ fans finally connect some dots.

Timothy’s Creepy Hallucinations Might Become Reality

The show’s third season has been closely following Jason Isaacs’ Timothy since the very start when he realised his successful business career might soon be over.

That’s when intrusive thoughts have entered, prompting the character to end his life before everyone knows about his failure; however, this later becomes even more frightening once it’s revealed that Timothy doesn’t consider killing only himself, but also his entire family, including three teenage children.

The new trailer for this season’s finale gives a very specific hint at how things will likely turn out, with Timothy asking hotel worker Pam about a deadly fruit from the pong pong tree; she then calls it “the suicide tree” before advising Timothy to not eat the fruit and wishing him a wonderful last day (whether it’s about his stay at the resort or life as a whole, it’s still something to figure out).

The sequence turns into something even more ominous with another shot of Saxon’s smoothie mixer with some drink inside it, which might be another sign of Timothy’s evil plan becoming reality after he (maybe) adds the poisonous fruit to his son’s smoothie.

Sam Rockwell’s Cameo Role Isn’t Really a Cameo Anymore

While many might still not be over Sam Rockwell’s monologue in the third season’s episode 5, something even more shocking is likely to have the actor’s character involved.

In the same trailer, Rockwell’s Frank is seen either throwing a tantrum or desperately looking for something, which suggests he might be facing the consequences of his decision to get back to alcohol after all.

Whether Frank will ultimately blame Rick for turning his life upside down again or will deliberately make his past return to its fullest, the outcome will likely have its toll on the ongoing drama between Rick and Jim Hollinger.

The White Lotus’ season 3 finale will air on Max on April 6.
