The actor who played the most enigmatic character in White Lotus Season 2 is set to star in a new romantic comedy developed by AppleTV+. Will Sharpe will star alongside Ayo Edebiri in a non-mainstream comedy titled Prodigies about former stars.
Will Sharpe is working on the project as creator and director. Along with Edebiri, he is also the show's executive producer, as are Jane Featherstone, Naomi de Pear and Katie Carpenter for Sister, the production company.

The show is about two former child stars facing the realities of adulthood. Sharpe and Edebiri will play Ren and Didi, two former child prodigies who have been together forever. The characters are now in their 30s and are beginning to question everything that comes into their lives.
