American Horror Story: Mall might be just what we've been waiting for.

Die-hard fans of American Horror Story will probably agree: the show isn’t quite like it used to be. It doesn't necessarily mean it's gotten worse (although some might argue that point), it just feels different now.

Is there a way to revive the AHS we once adored? Fans believe there is. A Reddit user suggested a great idea for the next season. Imagine this: American Horror Story: Mall. Yes, a mall setting with all the eerie vibes and our favorite AHS ladies.

Malls might seem like innocent places, but this idea might remind you of all the creepy stuff that used to go down in malls back in the day: abductions, stalkings, murders... the list goes on. One user even suggested a twist where the mall is built over a sacred burial ground.

One user pointed out that Kathy Bates should be in this season. And honestly, we couldn't agree more. Here’s what the fan suggested: Bates’ character would start off in an entry-level job, maybe at a food court or a retail store.

But as the season progresses, she climbs the ladder and becomes the general manager of the mall. And she's so dedicated to her job that she'd do anything to prevent the mall from shutting down.

Another idea might be a haunted abandoned mall. Think about the classic malls from the '80s and '90s. Neon lights, ginormous fountains, cheesy elevator music, and those food court aromas. But let’s add a twist. The mall is now abandoned and is rumored to be haunted.

What if, back in the day, there was a series of mysterious disappearances? Employees, customers, janitors...they'd just vanish. Rumors started. Some say it's because of cursed objects sold in one of those quirky little stores. Others whisper about a secret society that would meet after hours.

Whether it's witches, haunted hotels, or freak shows, AHS once knew how to serve us a delicious cocktail of horror, drama, and real-world issues. With an AHS: Mall season, the storytelling possibilities are really endless, and it would make an unforgettable ride.
