This is the Only Way You Will Experience the Thrill: Superman Explained How to Watch 'Star Wars' Correctly and Not Miss the Surprise

David Corenswet is sure that most viewers spoil the saga's major twist for themselves.
The new Superman turned out to be an expert on a galaxy far, far away. In the Royal Court podcast, actor David Corenswet shared his order for watching Star Wars — and it doesn’t match either the chronology or the release order. It’s all about one moment that the whole world knows but forgets to feel.
Shock first — explanation later
Corenswet insists: the first time you need to watch is from the fourth and fifth episodes — A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.
This is the only way to get the shock of Darth Vader’s sudden confession. And then the prequels come in — like a large-scale flashback explaining Anakin’s path. According to the actor, the marathon should end with Return of the Jedi.
The Saga Turns into Drama
Corenswet says that if viewers learn who Vader is before the main story begins, they don’t just lose the suspense — they lose the drama.
In his order (4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6), the story becomes a tragedy told backwards — and therefore more powerful.
“The finale feels like a real climax,” says the actor.
Anakin is not a villain, but a system error
In addition to the order of the episodes, Corenswet also spoke about the heroes. He believes that Anakin was not ready for the Jedi Order, and Qui-Gon was the only one who truly understood him.
Obi-Wan’s duty, entrusted to him by a dying master, only exacerbated the hero’s internal conflict.
