This The White Lotus Season 3 Character Was Introduced in Season 2 and You Didn't Notice
Season 3 of The White Lotus, after the (too) measured first three episodes, finally started to pick up pace in the fourth one.
The White Lotus rarely surprises with fundamentally new ideas, but in the finale, viewers are impressed by how Mike White skillfully weaves and then unravels a tangle of intrigue.
In the new episodes, the conflicts and potential tensions are just beginning to emerge. However, it is safe to say that each of the characters hides an abyss of secrets and vices behind their prosperous veneer – and Greg and Chloe are among them.
Greg and Chloe Are Both Obviously Hiding Something
One of the last scenes in Hide or Seek is the creepy as ever Greg exploring Belinda's social networks. Tanya's ex-husband Greg now has a new girlfriend from Canada, Chloe, and is clearly up to something illegal. Well, this is nothing new for him.
However, the main question is – how much does Chloe know about Greg's past life and, more importantly, when exactly did she appear in his life?
Greg Could Meet Chloe Back in Season 2
Redditor loudechoes suggests that he has known Greg since the second season and that it was with her that Greg spoke on the phone in one of the episodes set in Italy. Before leaving Sicily, he said "I love you" to someone on the phone – and most likely it was Chloe.
Another proof of this theory is that the tarot reader Tanya consulted told her that her husband has a new woman he is in love with – more beautiful and younger.
If Chloe has known Greg since he was in Italy, she may know details of Tanya's death that would allow her to manipulate Greg. When Belinda comes to their table and asks the man if he is Greg, Chloe does not react at all – as if she already knows the truth and is not surprised by Belinda's questions.
Also, Chloe clearly already manipulates Greg – she openly flirts with Saxon, which Greg does not like, but he says nothing to her.
Viewers Hope Chloe Will Take Revenge on Greg for Tanya's Death
Fans are hoping that Chloe is going to be Greg's payback for killing Tanya. Perhaps, after learning the details of her death, she decided to teach Greg a lesson – the man clearly received his ex-wife's fortune, and now, to avenge Tanya or simply for commercial purposes, Chloe is tolerating Greg in order to eventually run off with his money.
Considering that Tanya has been one of The White Lotus fans' favorite characters for two seasons, seeing Greg get what he deserves will be more than satisfying.
