It’s also very rewatchable, by the way.

As sci-fi enthusiasts, we're always searching for that next mind-bending story to obsess over. The mainstream hits are great, but there's something so special about discovering a show none of your friends have ever heard of. Besides, we've rewatched The Expanse an embarrassing amount of times, and it's time to binge on something completely new.

The show we're going to talk about today is one of those rare finds that makes you want to grab every sci-fi fan you know and ask, “How have you not seen this yet?!”

Trust us, we've been down the rabbit hole of mediocre sci-fi shows that promise the moon but deliver nothing. This isn't one of those.

Yes, Continuum Still Deserves Your Attention in 2025

We know time travel stories can be messy. They often get confused by their own rules, leaving us more frustrated than entertained. But Continuum is not like that at all. This show nails it. It takes the complex concept and presents it in a way that's both intellectually satisfying and emotionally engaging.

The show follows Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols), a law enforcement officer from 2077 who accidentally gets thrown back to 2012. Sounds simple enough, but Continuum is anything but simple.

We have to be honest with you, though. When we first heard it was a Canadian import, we were skeptical. But all that skepticism disappeared in a matter of minutes after starting the series. Continuum could compete with any big-budget Hollywood production. It delivers impressive visual effects and creates a believable world, both in 2012 and 2077.

Sci-Fi Fans Love the Show (& It's No Surprise)

Fans are absolutely obsessed (and so are we, to be honest). As Redditor ChattGM wrote:

“I LOVED THIS SHOW!!!! It's easily one of my favorite sci-fi series ever...I always recommend it when someone needs a show to watch. It was disheartening to know they canceled it, but at least they gave it some form of closure with the fourth season. It totally could have gone to five since the story was THAT compelling. Rachel Nichols portrayal as Kiera Cameron solidified her as one of my favorite heroes of all time.”

The way Rachel Nichols brings Kiera to life is remarkable. She manages to portray both the tough cop and the vulnerable human who simply got lost.

So if you're tired of predictable plots and want something that'll make you think while keeping you entertained, Continuum is your next binge.

Where to Stream Continuum?

You can stream Continuum right now on Amazon Prime. And if you've already seen it, a rewatch will reveal things you missed the first time around.
