Wenclair fans, our time has come (we aren't sure if it's time to celebrate or to suffer, though).

Netflix has released a new trailer for Season 2 of Wednesday, which essentially confirms our fears from April. Enid Sinclair is in grave danger, and only her goth roommate can save her — or seal her fate.

In the new trailer, a lot happens: Wednesday returns to school and confronts her newfound fame as the savior of Nevermore Academy. Most importantly, she opens up to her mother, Morticia, about her visions. There is something new about them: Wednesday cries eerie black tears when she sees them, and also, they are directly hinting that her friend Enid may die because of her.

Wednesday sees her roommate as a zombie who blames her for her death, and Morticia tells Wednesday that she "will not let history repeat itself." We're not sure if she hints at the death of Larissa Weems that happened in Season 1, or to something completely different.

We predicted that Enid may be in danger ever since the first teaser for Season 2 came out in April. In the teaser, we saw the creepy dolls that Wednesday dealt with. What made us uneasy was that Enid received a creepy doll as a gift.

Fans Are Already Freaking Out Over Enid's Potential Death

On Reddit, Wednesday fans are already begging Netflix not to kill Enid off. However, many believe that Wednesday's roommate will not actually die — not with her importance to the main character and the entire storyline.

"Enid is not going to die. It’s the catalyst for a bigger, overarching plot line. They aren’t going to kill off one of the most popular characters on the show," said Redditor Jadisons.

But fans do believe they now know how Part 1 of the second season ends.

"I bet part one is gonna end with Enid being attacked by someone/something and then it will cut to credits," predicted Redditor Loaf-Yohf.

Others believe that the vision itself may be a trick for Wednesday, potentially something from the mysterious Stalker from season 1.

"I highly suspect an illusion or a Fake dream sent by the villain/Mastermind/Stalker to push Wednesday towards the new murder mystery. [...] I dont think the Mastermind want Enid dead, on the other hand I do think that the Mastermind is willing to do any tricks to put Wednesday in a position he wants her to be," Redditor Unique-Piccolo-9199 suggested.

Wednesday Season 2 Release Schedule

Like all successful titles recently, the second season of Netflix's gothic hit, helmed by Tim Burton, will be split into two parts. Part 1 will premiere on August 6, with Part 2 following on September 3.
