With the release of 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' just around the corner, Christensen addresses the possibility of his iconic villain returning to other Disney+ shows in the future.
The appearance of Darth Vader in the upcoming Ewan McGregor-led miniseries is certainly no secret, as some major leaks assure fans that they will see more of Hayden Christensen in the coming weeks. While the actor's return to the franchise that kick-started his career is certainly welcome, fans are wondering if this will be just a one-time deal or if he will become a permanent fixture in Disney's rapidly expanding 'Star Wars' universe.
Recent rumors and fan theories suggest that Vader may indeed appear in another Disney + series, this time in Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni's 'Ahsoka'. Considering that Ahsoka appeared in 'The Clone Wars' as Anakin Skywalker's Padawan, it's not hard to imagine how great her confrontation with the villainous mentor might look in the upcoming series.
However, this is still only a rumor, and Christensen's recent interview for Capital FM only proves that the actor is still unsure about the future of his character.
"I don't know, I can't really speak to the Ahsoka series. I don't know about that one," Christensen said about the possibility of him appearing in the 'Ahsoka'.
However, this does not upset fans, as many suspect that the actor is bound by Disney's 'no spoiler' policy, so the possibility of Vader crossing lightsabers with his former student Ahsoka is still very real.
'Obi-Wan Kenobi' will arrive on Disney+ on May 27, 2022.
