One of the greatest new additions to MCU came from 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2', Stakar Ogord (Silvester Stallone) and his Ravagers crew, melted fans hearts with their undeniable charisma and weirdness. But will they come back for more adventures?
According to 'Guardians' director James Gunn, that is not entirely out of the question. Responding to a fan's tweet about the possibility of Original Guardians having their own Disney+ show, Gunn responded with cryptic, yet optimistic "you never know".
And this does make sense – wasting Stallone's fame on just one film seems kind of pointless. Marvel might give such a show a chance based on his popularity only. Additionally, Ogard and his crew may appear in other MCU films, including the upcoming 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3'. Gunn has promised that there will be some "wonderful" cameos in the film, and Stallone's return is as good as it gets.
'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' hits theatres on May 23, 2023.
