The filming of 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' recently ended, and Will Poulter, who will play the role of the antihero Adam Warlock in the upcoming film, is ready to talk about the future of his character.

Adam Warlock appeared in the original Marvel comics back in the 1960s, and this artificially created God immediately proved to be an extremely strong and conflicted antihero, defeating Thanos himself. Despite being created to destroy Earth, Warlock rebelled against Enclave, who gave him life, and saved the Blue Marble. Although it is still unknown what role Warlock will play in the upcoming James Gunn film, many fans believe that he will be one of the villains.

In a conversation with The Playlist, Will Poulter touched on his character's future in the MCU, which has always interested fans, given Warlock's huge role in the original comics.

"I don't know. I honestly don't know what's in store for me. I'm waiting to find out, and that's the honest truth, but, needless to say, I'd love to sort of go on a journey with that character," Poulter said.

The actor didn't seem to know what Feige had in store for him himself, but the fact that Poulter is at least contemplating Warlock's possible future suggests that he will probably survive the events of the upcoming film.

'Guardians of the Galaxy 3 ' will hit theatres on May 23, 2023.
