Maybe it’s for the better.

Summary:

  • Stranger Things is a science fiction horror television show on Netflix.
  • The show has been on the air since 2016 but has only produced 4 seasons since then.
  • Now, as production for the final season nears, the creators behind the show, Matt and Ross Duffer, promise not to pay attention to social media opinions.

While there are some very obvious reasons to believe that technology has only helped the entertainment industry, there are certainly some easier things to do without having 24/7 access to the World Wide Web to share your opinions and read the opinions of others that you may not even want to see.

Many people seem to struggle with the pressure that social media puts on them.Being a creative mind behind the popular show, while constantly bombarded with opinions about your work and personal qualities, however, must be even harder.

Fortunately, not everyone is willing to succumb to the pressure and blindly follow what is expected of them. Matt and Ross Duffer, the masterminds behind Stranger Things, are a great example of creatives who tend to follow their own instincts.

When Will the Stranger Things Finale Be Out?

There is still plenty of time for all Stranger Things fans before the final season of the show is released. Just recently, it was confirmed that filming for the season will begin in January 2024, so there is no way that the season itself will premiere earlier than 2025. Until then, fans are free to speculate about what will happen.

Too bad, though, that none of the fan theories are likely to make it into the show itself. That's where the creators of Stranger Things, the Duffer Brothers, draw the line between the fanbase and those who make the show happen behind the cameras. It got mentioned it in the most recent interview with The Guardian:

“We have a huge variety of fans that span a huge age range and I’m sure they have all their own ideas of how they want the show to end. But we’re not consulting social media on this,” Matt Duffer said.

Considering how well the Duffer Brothers' creative instincts have proven themselves over the past 4 seasons of the show, it's safe to say that the final, fifth season already sounds just as promising.

Of course, no one is stopping fans from voicing their opinions online about what should and should not happen. However, these opinions are likely to stay within the fan community and not reach the production team behind the project.

Make sure to stay tuned to not miss another Stranger Things news or behind-the-scenes update! Until then, you can stream all 4 seasons of the show on Netflix.
