There are superhero criminals, superheroes without superpowers, and superheroes who are much older than you're used to seeing on screen.

Season 4 of The Boys isn't even close (it's expected to be released in the summer of 2024), so if you're hungry for some non-typical superheroes, it's time to turn to anime. And while not all of these titles are as gruesome and full of dark humor, they are every bit as exciting as The Boys.

You've probably heard of the anime about the bald guy Saitama who trained himself to perfection, because it's an undeniable classic. And if you still haven't seen it, now is the time.
