We bet they’re trying to forget it too.

There is nothing more entertaining for viewers than watching celebrities out of their element compete against each other. That is why, thirty-two seasons after its premiere, Dancing With the Stars still attracts enough viewers to continue on both ABC and Disney Plus.

Although we all know that the majority of A-list celebrities don't have the time, creative energy, or motivation to participate in such competitions, there are still some very big names that have made their appearance on the show throughout its history.

Here are 10 celebrities you'd be surprised to know were on Dancing With the Stars.

Kim Kardashian

Although Kim Kardashianm has managed to build an entire empire around her name, there's one thing the star hasn't mastered and that's dancing. The reality TV star was a contestant on the 7th season of Dancing With the Stars, paired with Mark Ballas. She was the third contestant to be eliminated.

Nicole Scherzinger

Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough, on the other hand, completely dominated the dance floor to become the winning couple of the show's 10th season. The Pussycat Dolls star showed just how much her experience in the band has taught her, not only physically, but morally as well.

Bill Nye

Bill Nye the Science Guy isn't the first person that comes to mind when you think of dancing. While there is no doubting his scientific mind and brilliance as a TV host, his dancing skills were not up to par, and he was eliminated after the third dance in season 17. To be fair, Nye had to overcome a knee injury, which hurt his chances.

Carole Baskin

One thing everyone should know about activism is that there are no wrong ways to get the message out. Maybe that was the point of Carole Baskin's appearance on the show. But Netflix 's Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness documentary helped spread a lot more awareness than her 14th spot on the show.

Amber Rose

Another name closely involved in the Kardashian drama is Amber Rose, who dated Kanye and spoke out against his alleged bullying. The star competed in the 23rd season of the show and managed to climb higher than Kim K, landing in 9th place. Her cha-cha failed to impress the judges, including guest judge Pitbull.

Priscilla Presley

Unfortunately for the actress, her moves didn't get her far in the show. She danced with Louis van Amstel in season 6 and finished in 8th place after an unfortunate Viennese Waltz that landed her and her partner in the bottom two, and an even more disastrous Rumba that sent the couple to elimination.

Zendaya

It's hard to imagine someone of Zendaya's caliber appearing on the show like this, but back when season 16 aired, the industry clearly wasn't taking her seriously. Fresh out of Disney, she rocked the dance floor with partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy, but still didn't land the top spot, finishing in second place.

Jerry Springer

Famous American broadcaster Jerry Springer was one of the first celebrities to appear on the show, competing in season 3. With the heartwarming motivation of learning a waltz to perform at his daughter's wedding, Springer and his partner Kym Johnson managed to compete for 7 weeks before being eliminated.

Chris Hemsworth

You may not remember Chris Hemsworth ever being on Dancing With the Stars, but that is simply because the actor was on an Australian version of the show. He wasn't bad and managed to get 5th place, but the Thor training he got a little later would have gotten him a lot further.

Vanilla Ice

The rapper fought on the dance floor against Amber Rose during the 23rd season of the show, but performed much worse and ended up being eliminated during the fourth week. Neither his fame nor the professional support of a partner, Witney Carson, could help the celebrity with his steps of the Viennese waltz.
