5 Law & Order Actors Who Surprisingly Starred in… GTA Video Games
If you watched Law & Order, you might have missed Trevor and Michael from GTA V.
Television and video games sometimes overlap, with actors lending their talents across mediums. Both fans of the long-running TV franchise Law & Order, and fans of the equally iconic Grand Theft Auto video game series will be surprised to find that many actors from Law & Order actually appeared in GTA.
While some of them only lent their voices for GTA characters because facial scanning wasn’t a thing yet, others provided both their voices and their looks to the game.
Steven Ogg
Steven Ogg became a household name in the gaming community with his role as Trevor Philips in GTA V. Trevor is a former military pilot and one of the game’s three protagonists, known for his unpredictable behavior and criminal endeavors.
In Law & Order, Ogg portrayed artist Mark Vee in the 2000's episode 20 of season 10. After his role in GTA V, he made appearances in such popular TV shows as Better Call Saul, Westworld, and The Walking Dead.
Ned Luke
Ned Luke, another Law & Order alum, portrayed not one but four characters in different episodes of Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU. For GTA V, he portrayed Michael De Santa, a retired bank robber and another protagonist of the game.
Luke made his first appearance on Law & Order: SVU in 2002’s episode titled Popular. In the episode, he portrays a father of a teenager rape victim.
Ice-T
Law & Order fans don’t need us to introduce Ice-T. Portraying the fan-favorite Detective Odafin Tutuola on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit., Ice-T is one of those actors who has been on the show for the most episodes.
Ice-T voiced Madd Dogg, a renowned rapper in the GTA universe who appeared in GTA: San Andreas.
Jonathan Walker
Jonathan Walker transitioned from Law & Order to play Devin Weston in GTA V. Devin Weston is a billionaire, venture capitalist, and the main antagonist of the game.
He played five different characters in all three primary shows of the Law & Order franchise: Law & Order, Law & Order: CI, and Law & Order: SVU.
