The movie is still a tempting offer for not all of Netflix’s viewers.

The world’s biggest streaming platform keeps expanding its endless collection of movies and shows, but every so often not the whole world gets to see some of the most exciting arrivals.

Netflix ’s strategy of dropping more content for specific countries still remains a mystery, and it just got bigger as the streaming made a gift for its British version by giving it a highly-anticipated sci-fi movie.

Titled Nope which originally stands for “Not of Planet Earth,” Jordan Peele’s 2022 Neo-Western horror is set to blow everyone away once again.

Starring Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer, Nope follows siblings OJ and Emerald Haywood who inherit their family ranch in California after their father is killed by some random objects falling from the sky.

As the supernatural mystery doesn’t seem to go away after the family patriarch’s death, OJ and Emerald embark on their own investigation trying to capture evidence of an unidentified flying object, getting some help from tech salesman Angel Torres and documentarian Antlers Holst.

In the meantime, their actions are being watched by a local theme park’s owner whose plan to get some profit from the mysterious events is jeopardized by OJ and Emerald’s attempt to investigate their father’s tragic death.

Released in theaters back in 2022, Nope was a huge box office success grossing around $172 million against the initial budget of $68 million. Apart from the commercial acclaim, the movie was praised by both critics and viewers landing scores of 83% and 69% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes.

Having already spent quite some time out after the initial release, Nope got even more accolades, with some claiming that it’s one of the best sci-fi movies of the century.
