Warner Bros.'s superhero property is going through bad times right now, and it looks like the creative team behind 'Aquaman 2' just decided to use the work of the much more popular MCU.

The Jason Momoa-led blockbuster is much more anticipated than 'The Flash ', plagued by constant delays and legal problems for its main star Ezra Miller. However, 'Aquaman 2 ' still suffers from some problems, including a fan campaign to recast Amber Heard, preventing her from appearing as Mera in the sequel. And now it looks like the DCEU may be accused of even more serious things – stealing the character design from Marvel Studios, to be exact.

A well-known insider recently reported that viewers who saw the movie noted the resemblance of one of the characters to MCU 's Korg, voiced by Taika Waititi. The character in question is described as an annoying crab whose personality is suspiciously similar to that of the Cronan warrior from 'Thor 3'.

While it's still too early to accuse Warner Bros. of anything, this information certainly calls into question the DCEU's ongoing struggle to differentiate its films from their counterparts'. And it seems that some fans are already fed up with DC's inability to stick to the production schedule, campaigning to boycott 'Aquaman 2'.

'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' is set to premiere on March 17, 2023.
