Love drama is getting more complicated in Wednesday’s season 2, but some of the show’s couples just aren’t meant to be a thing — and others have all of the fans’ support.

Wednesday is seemingly getting into more trouble in Netflix’s hit show of the same name, though it doesn’t mean there won’t be enough space for love complications between Wednesday’s lead characters.

Now that things are about to become even messier for Enid and Ajax amidst the former’s growing romance with Bruno, Wednesday might be heading towards creating even more exciting (or not so much) couples, including the one that many have been wanting to see ever since the first season’s release.

In case you didn’t pay that much attention to all the love webs behind Wednesday’s main mystery, here’s a list of every couple (existing or already not) in the show, ranked by how likable they are by fans.

7. Wednesday & Tyler

Arguably one of the worst pairings Wednesday has ever featured, the romance between Wednesday and Tyler died as fast as it was revealed that he’s actually the monster that kept terrorizing Nevermore Academy all along.

Having figured this out, Wednesday broke it off at once, eventually getting back to Tyler to get some information from him while he’s kept in Willow Hill Hospital.

As a whole, Wednesday was lucky to be off when it turned out that Tyler was the one who manipulated her and hurt both her and her friends.

6. Wednesday & Xavier

Tyler’s rival for Wednesday’s attention in the first season, Xavier is no better even when compared to the actual monster.

First, he’s the one to blame Wednesday for whatever she could have thought when she confronts him after discovering Xavier’s paintings of the monster.

Not much later, Xavier asks his ex-girlfriend Bianca to use her siren song to make him forget about all the pain he seemingly was feeling after Wednesday’s rejection. In response, Bianca also confronts her ex for using her to forget about another girl, though this doesn’t make Xavier learn anything either.

Still, Xavier was pretty insensitive to each girl he was ever interested in, so it might be for the better that he just disappeared from the entire storyline.

5. Bianca & Xavier

Xavier makes himself look even worse for Wednesday’s fans when Bianca clearly suggests that he simply didn’t trust her while they stayed in the relationship.

As Bianca implies, her ex was constantly paranoid about her allegedly using her siren song to keep him nearby, which eventually led to the two deciding to break up.

However, at the Ball Xavier has nothing against Bianca using her siren abilities to make him forget Wednesday, causing yet another fallout due to his hypocrisy and insensitivity.

4. Enid & Bruno

After breaking it all up with Ajax in her head, Enid seems happy with Bruno who she admits she has been attracted to ever since the day she met him, but it still might be too early to cry for fans of Enid & Ajax pairing.

As someone who showed up out of nowhere and whose character nobody couldn’t quite explore so far, Bruno seems pretty suspicious to many of Wednesday’s fans who claim he might turn out to be one of the villains in this season.

Apart from that, no significant development is seen in Enid and Bruno’s relationship, partially because the latter never talks about his feelings towards his girlfriend whatsoever.

3. Enid & Ajax

One of few Wednesday couples that everyone rooted for in the first season, Enid and Ajax had a healthy dynamics and seemed genuinely attracted to each other until the summer break that changed it all.

Having returned to Nevermore weeks later, Enid started acting oblivious towards Ajax who spent quite some time trying to figure out the reasons for such a change.

It turned out that both had their own issues to fix, with Enid finally wolfing out and falling in love with a fellow werewolf and Ajax holding a grudge against Enid for becoming a whole different person.

While now it doesn’t seem very likely that the two will get back together, Enid and Ajax could have been a good match that Wednesday has definitely lacked so far.

2. Morticia & Gomez

Even though sometimes their love dynamics seems to be too much for Wednesday in particular, Morticia and Gomez are a perfect match that has been adored in many more Addams Family adaptations before Wednesday came along.

Serving as an example of probably the healthiest and strongest relationships in the series, the two are also the proof that a man’s love should be just a little bit bigger and enough for him to cover for his wife, just like the latter’s determination to stand nearby for whatever difficulty.

Both Morticia and Gomez are used to figuring out their issues right away, demonstrating clear communication and mutual respect for each other’s feelings.

1. Wednesday & Enid (aka Wenclair)

Despite this being nothing but fans’ wishful thinking for the moment, the couple of Wednesday and Enid seems like another perfect match that would work just fine, considering their opposite personalities.

Initially struggling to accept each other’s quirky traits, both evolved with time and proved their mutual trust.

However, Wednesday’s creators have recently made it clear that Enid and Wednesday’s relationships should be nothing more than just female friendship and the positive influence that the two can have on each other’s personalities.
