Howard Stern Thinks Will Smith and Trump Are the Same Guy
Howard Stern couldn’t stay away from the Oscar “slapping incident”. In his long-running SiriusXM radio show Stern claimed that Will Smith and Trump are the same guy and came down on Smith’s behavior.
“He opened hand with a lot of force, smacks him right in the mouth on TV. <...> Where is security? This is a live television event! Not one person came out, because he’s Will Smith, this is how Trump gets away with shit. Will Smith and Trump are the same guy. He decided he’s going to take matters into his own hands”.
Stern also added that now at a time when the world is at war it is bad timing for such aggressive behavior, suggesting Smith to calm down.
Stern wasn’t the only Hollywood celebrity who spoke out against Smith. Many fans have also condemned this act of violence, admitting that they always loved Will Smith but his actions shocked them. They wonder if Smith would have done that to Robin Williams, pointing out that he just made it "open season" on any stand-up comedian in the future.
But there are those who think that Smith did the right thing and everybody's just overreacting.
Others say that comparison between Smith and Trump is itself irrelevant.
